Dear Lovely People,
I hope you're all well as can be, all considered. These times have been very trying for everyone and one of the most difficult things it seems is to remain connected to one another. I hope this email helps in some small way. One other way I find helpful is just to contemplate the amazing connections that we share, whether we are apart or close. In my heart, I can feel the part of me that is you, and the part of you that is me. That’s the reality in this world. On some level, we’re never far apart. And I’m grateful for that.
For the past months I've been doing some recording and mixing for folks who are far away, from my home studio. It’s wonderful to note that we’re still able to make music together, and the distance is not so far after all. Here’s a sampling of some great music that I’ve lucky to be a part of recently. I hope you can support these artists and have a listen to their work 🤗
First released was a stunning track by amazing composer/producer Bryan Senti on 7K! Records, part of a compilation called String Layers:
Then, a great recording from a few years back was remastered and released by amazing vocalist Loire Cotler, along with multi-grammy-winning percussionist Glen Velez and VK Raman on Indian Flutes:
Finally, I recorded several tracks via Zoom for a wonderful album of devotional music, including a tribute to my teacher, Ram Dass, by Adam Bauer. I love this album:
Stay tuned for more new releases, including an original album of meditative music for cello, piano, tabla and fretless bass, coming soon! While you’re on Spotify, please follow me there. Your support is deeply appreciated.
Take care and stay well.
