New Cello Album!! 🎻

Happy Fall!

I’m very excited. A new album- Love Rules, Meditations for Cello and Piano is now available for preorder! Love Rules is a collaboration with Wells Hanley- soulful pianist, composer and host of the podcast "I Wrote this Song for You". We have a shared love of spirituality, and wanted to put that love into music that calms and uplifts the spirit. So far, listeners seem to feel that coming through. You can preview and preorder HERE.

We brought along Mark Egan on bass (Pat Metheny, Gil Evans, etc) and Arjun Bruggeman on tablas (Belinda Carlisle, The Doors, etc). And we’ll be releasing the album on our very own label, Blue Yarn Records.

Please join me in celebrating! You can preview and preorder downloads and CD's now. And you’ll get two songs NOW when you preorder the album. We’ve already begun work on a follow-up album, and your purchases will help to make the dream come alive….

Thanks for all your support! I really appreciate all you do.

Stay well,

Noah

A very special experience this week playing the music of Charlie Mingus w Harry Skoler, Kenny Barron, Christian McBride, Jonathan Blake and Nicholas Payton. Working with musicians of that caliber was hugely inspiring and gave me a big push. They were also hilarious! It was doubly great cause my string buddies Tomoko Omura, Megan Weeder Gould, and Karen Waltuch were there. Incredible string arrangements were by our dear Fabian Almazan and new friend Darcy James Argue. Tracked live by producer Walter Smith III at Sear Sound. Amazing music with amazing people.

Stay well,

Noah

Brooklyn Love. Recording at the incredible Bunker Studios this week and taking a quick walk-break. Love the Brooklyn sights and sounds. Music of the wonderful Jazz pianist and vocalist Mavis Pan with great strings by Grammy winning composer-arranger Michael Patterson. So good to be back making music with real live human beings again…..
