The power of slowing down….

It all started when…

I called Ram Dass on the phone and he actually picked up. That day in 2004 changed my life forever.

I had already been practicing yoga and meditation for some years, but RD set me on a path to knowing that practice, and myself, on a much deeper level. Today, I share that learning with my students.

In one-on-one online sessions, I work with people to develop their own self-knowledge, sharing tools that help them go deeper in their own exploration of what it means to to live a good life. As a teacher trained and certified in mindfulness meditation, I offer this life-changing practice to students, a practice that was crucial to Ram Dass as well. Bringing you personal support for your practice, enriching you with ideas and methods that will keep you inspired and growing, mentoring and guiding when asked to do so.

Through mindfulness, we enter into nonjudgemental awareness of our own thoughts and feelings. The practice anchors us in the present moment, allowing us to actually be here now more and more of the time. It also profoundly changes our relationship to ourselves and our experience for the better, making us feel more at home in who we are.

Amongst its many benefits, mindfulness has been shown to reduce stress, pain, and reactivity, helping us to make better choices and have healthier relationships. And we can use it to change old habits and build new ones, like the gratitude of noticing and appreciating the good in our lives in this very moment.

Gradually, we build our awareness, using practices like metta- Buddha’s lovingkindness meditation- to deepen our self-love and self-compassion, a love which we can then radiate out and share with others, helping them and our world. Ram Dass’ practice of loving awareness helps us to open us into our Hearts, eventually allowing us to set up residence there.

I’m looking forward to working with you and supporting you in your own personal journey. It’s up to you where we will travel, and what you’ll discover along the way.

Reach out and we can discuss how these one-on-one sessions might help you to live more in the present moment, and in your own Heart.
