Manu Album out Now

Manu is Out Now! I feel so proud to be part of this amazing album and journey with Bryan Senti on Naive Records. It’s hard to express the scale and grandeur of this album. Working on the music during covid, at first remotely, kept me feeling connected to the world. Its immense beauty added so much during that time. Going to LA to record last May marked my first time out of NY since the pandemic, and working with Bryan and the amazing Justin Moskevich opened up my joy again.

The beauty of Manu isn’t something I can describe in words- it’s something you have to partake of directly by listening. If you have a moment to do that, your world will be changed too. Listen on your favorite platform and enjoy. Manu is getting a lot of play on radio like BBC 3 and is featured on Apple Music Classical Listen HERE.

Incredible String Video

Dear Friends,

I hope you're staying well and enjoying the spring. How have you been? Up here in the Catskill Mountains, every day is magical.

That's also the way I feel about the music of Bryan Senti. When you see the MANTRA video I think you'll agree.

Bryan and I met many moons ago while recording his score for Experimenter with Wynona Rider and Peter Sarsgaard. During 2020 we worked remotely on cello for his album MANU and in early 2021, I went to LA to complete the work.

The album is coming out June 24th on Naive Records! Pre-save it to your favorite platform here

In prep for that, filmmaker Jared Malik Royal made 2 incredible live videos up here in Woodstock with Bryan, me, and amazing ACME new music ensemble.

Bryan and I will be performing this music July 17 at Le Poisson Rouge, NYC. We'd love to see you there.

Until then, stay happy and healthy.

See you soon!

Noah

Love Rules, Meditations for Cello and Piano is Now Everywhere.

I’m excited to share Love Rules with you!! Wells Hanley and I made Love Rules to share the happiness we have playing together, and we hope you experience joy when listening. The album is now available everywhere. Reviews New Age in Spain says “Bodhiheart improvises one of the best albums of year’s end.” Echoes Radio, syndicated across 120 stations nationwide, did a feature on the record. And Love Rules debuted at #14 on the NACC Chill Chart.

We’re thrilled to hear the album is also helping people through these difficult times.

The incredible duo of Mark Egan, fretless bass, and Arjun Bruggeman, tablas and percussion, played on some of the tracks. The great Mark Plati mixed it, and the amazing Tom Durack mastered it. They all made it something we’re very proud of.

Love Rules started in a very simple way- We got together in Brooklyn to play and hit record. Love Rules is a record of that time, which became beautifuller when Mark and Arjun showed up. And again when Mark Plati and Tom added their sounds to it. We’re putting it out on our own label Blue Yarn Records.

You can listen to and buy Love Rules below, or on your favorite streaming service.

Stay well and enjoy the music,

Noah
