Born For America was directed by the inimitable Piotr Redlinski and filmed in an old village hall in upstate new york.
In it, I sing about the dire state of our nation, so deeply divided and on shaky ground in so many ways. It seems like old wounds, never fully healed, have resurfaced and are making us all suffer, especially the least privileged amongst us.
But I also believe in the undying promise of America to provide for ALL people equally, and Born For America is about that promise too.

Born For America is a song from my album Mobile Home, released on Nov 18th. The great Mark Plati co-produced with me, and mixed the album, as well as playing bass and guitar on this track. Doug Yowell brought the whole thing to new heights with his drumming.
