What Happened in LA....

Hello Friends!

I hope you’re doing well and enjoying a Spring renewal. Hopefully going forward we can make choices that create a better future for us all, caring for our world and every being within it. Our thoughts and prayers matter too.

A lot of change is in the air! I spent 12 days in L.A., working on 2 great projects. I look forward to sharing them with you soon. (See cactus above for flavor).

I recorded solo cello for a beautiful album of music for strings by Bryan Senti. Bryan and I met in 2018 while recording his score for Experimenter, with Winona Ryder and Ewan McCregor. A cool film!

Some images from the studio this month- that's Bryan to my right, and multi Grammy-winning engineer Justin Moskevich just below him.

And I was honored to film pieces by composer and synth wizard Peter Adams. Peter is a true artist who's creation captures the emotional experience of this year, both its challenges and its promises. The album is exquisite. The film was shot by a great crew in a beautiful outdoor setting.

But now, watch a video below of our submission for the NPR Tiny Desk Contest!

Stay well everyone.

With thanks and love,

Noah
